School · Learning · AdmissionsThe School
Is Veridian a new school?+
Veridian began a new chapter in 2026, but its roots go back to Vivaio School, founded in 2016. The model, multilingual programme, spaces and academic vision are new; the experience of serving local families is not.
How small are the groups?+
Groups are intentionally small and limited so educators can observe and respond to each child. Exact capacity varies by age and staffing; Admissions shares current group size and availability honestly.
Languages
How does immersive English work?+
English is used through stories, projects, play, routines and everyday conversation. Children acquire meaning through context and repeated, purposeful interaction.
How is German introduced?+
German is experienced through songs, movement, stories, games, routines and interaction with a German-speaking educator.
Does my child need previous English or German?+
No previous knowledge is required for Early Years. Gesture, context, repetition and relationships support participation while language develops.
Do parents need to speak German?+
No. German is part of the child’s experience; communication with families does not require parents to speak German.
Learning
What is the Veridian Daily Ritual?+
It is the recognisable rhythm of arrival, connection, discovery, movement, shared lunch, creation and reflection. It gives security while learning content changes.
What educational materials do you use?+
Open-ended, practical, artistic and sensory resources are chosen for a purpose. Selected Montessori-inspired materials support concentration, coordination, independence and self-correction.
How is nature included?+
Outdoor learning is integrated through movement, observation, gardening and projects. It is part of learning, not merely recess.
Practical information
What are the school hours?+
The regular day is 08:00–13:30. Nest, K1–K3 and Bridge offer an extended option until 16:00.
How does Veridian International Lunch work?+
It is a calm, social and independent ritual with balanced food prepared at school. Children explore ingredients, flavours and food traditions from around the world without pressure. The required programme is billed in two payments of $3,000, due in September and January. For 2026–27 only, service begins in October.
How many tuition payments are there?+
There are 11 monthly tuition payments, from September through July.
What does the materials fee cover?+
It purchases the materials required throughout the full school year: $3,000 for Nest, $4,300 for K1–K3 and $5,000 for Bridge.
How do the discounts work?+
Monthly tuition receives a 5% prompt-payment discount when paid within the first 10 days of the month. The second child receives 5% and the third child 10%; sibling and prompt-payment discounts may be combined.
Admissions
How does admission work?+
Tell us about your child, visit the school, schedule an age-appropriate Discovery Day and, if the fit is right, complete admission and onboarding.
Can we visit before applying?+
Yes. A visit is the recommended first step, with no application required beforehand.
